Job Description:

Purpose of the role

  • Ensure safety and security of ACF Pakistan team in Sindh, by strengthening security systems and liaison with relevant government authorities and law enforcement agencies.

   Job Profile

  • Master's Degree in relevant field Minimum 04 years of overall experience and 02 years in relevant field in development sector OR Bachelor's degree in relevant field with minimum 06 years overall experience with 04 years in relevant field in development sector
  • This position requires frequent (up to 50%) travel/field visits across operational districts

Individual accountabilities

  • Conduct regular risk analysis, and suggest mitigation measures with the support of HA Security Manager and do field visit when required.
  • Establish and maintain liaison and cooperative relationship with local and provincial government authorities and other LEAs working in the area of responsibility
  • Assist to development of LSOP, HRE Plan and play key role in ensuring daily implementation.
  • Submit weekly/biweekly security reports to HA & Security Manager utilizing existing ACTION AGAINST HUNGER templates and tools.
  • Ensure safe travel of local and expatriate staff for program activities and field visit monitoring.
  • Undertake regular field visits including, at the request of program staff to establish relationship at district and union council level and to participate in meetings as and when required with the support of HA & Security Manager.
  • Keep record, soft and hard, of all submissions and acknowledgements for all project NOCs.
  • Submit extension requests in time if required for NOCs with the support of HA & Security Manager.
  • Maintain the current database of security assessments and provide specific recommendations to HA & Security Manager based on these assessments.
  • Team management of Security Focal Persons in ACF offices of Sindh.
  • Strong follow up in order to get the updates and documents related to NOC.
  • Reporting of security incidents on SIRO.
