Job Description: |
- Manages complete product lifecycle from initiation till maturity/decline.
- Analyzes previous sales trends to forecast targets for the assigned category.
- Conducts gap analysis to identify potential areas of improvement.
- Analyzes the performance of each SKU at the given prices to identify whether to continue or discontinue with a product.
- Obtains Sales feedback for each category and each SKU.
- Conducts market research to identify new trends with R&D dept.
- Updates product master database and product specification sheets for every product.
- Coordinates with marketing department regarding the performance of products.
- Recommends pricing, profit margin and discounts of products based on market position of the company.
- Responsible for carrying out demand forecasts.
- Ensures product knowledge is provided to sales personnel on timely basis.
