Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY

Data Analyst will be responsible for supporting the AKHS,P’s data team with their vision of utilizing collected data for further analysis and insight gathering. The individual will work in close coordination with the programmatic units and data team for overseeing the on field data collection process and presenting required analysis.

Regular Duties:

Supporting day to day data collection by ensuring data quality is maintained and of the required quality

Providing required analysis presentations and other documentation as needed by AKHS,P team.

Supporting with app development and rollouts for programmatic units

Development of AKHS,P data infrastructure and architecture to support overall organizations missions.

Any other tasks assigned within data team or by line manager for operational support.

In the process of performing Regular/Periodic Duties to ensure that local culture/values and traditions are respected and not disturbed/compromised.

PERIODIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:

Lead data related initiatives within AKHS, P to improve organizational data systems

Work towards achieving long term goals of AKHS, P specific to establishing a strong data centric infrastructure to improve decision making

Participate in regular review meetings with regional and programmatic teams to identify possibilities of improvement

Improve data systems within organization by bringing in new and relevant technological advances in the data sphere at AKHS,P

Ensure data management at AKHS,P is kept on track and in check by working in collaboration with regional teams.

POSITION SPECIFICATION

Academic/Professional Qualification: Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Management Sciences, Research or any relevant Data related field will be preferred.

Experience and Training: 1-2 years of experience with Data management and analysis, preferably in a research based setting. Fresh graduates with a relevant training can also apply.

Knowledge, Skills, Ability and Traits: Team player, ability to meet tight deadlines, excellent communication, data management and analytical skills, proficiency with any statistical analysis software such as STATA/SPSS/R Studio and MS. Office (word, excel, power point) are mandatory. Knowledge of POWER BI will be a plus.
