Overview:

• The position of Cleaning Supervisor will be responsible for the ensuring the oversight of all aircraft cleaning area on a day-to-day basis, this role is critical to ensure that all cleaning is undertaken in accordance with the Menzies – RAS and Airline Policies and Procedures.

Main accountabilities include:

• All duties are covered by trained staff, ensuring that all staff are aware of their tasks when on shift.
• You will be accountable to ensuring that all cleaning is undertaken to a high standard.
• Communicate with TCO to ensure that cleaning staff may commence / de commence duties once instructions from the flight crew have been given.
• Leading the staff on board the aircraft to ensure all duties are undertaken effectively and efficiently.
• To carry out briefings to staff who have been assigned to inflight cleaning, to ensure they understand their duties for the shift / flight.
• Assign individual tasks for team members to undertake on flights.
• Ensure all equipment is maintained and in workable condition.
• Ensure PPE is worn by staff members when required.
• Maintain clear communication with the Passenger Services and Ramp Teams.
• Ensure correct count of blankets, pillow and any other airline specific items prior to the aircraft departure is recorded correctly and records are maintained.
• Ensure lost property is correctly handled as per the Menzies – RAS SOP.
• Any other duties required.

• Candidate requirements
• Possess a good understanding of the ground handling environment and operational functions.
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with operational managers.
• Internally and externally, whilst leading and motivating a growing workforce.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in the Ramp environment.
• You will have an ability to drive through policies and procedures and represent airside.
• You must be self-motivated, and performance driven.
• You will have the ability to work under pressure and remain calm and professional.
• Inspire team orientated work environment.
• You must maintain a well-groomed appearance.
• You will be an ambassador for the Menzies- RAS uniform.
• Airside Driving License Required
