Job Overview:

Reporting to the Ramp Supervisor / Baggage Segregation Supervisor. Delivering high performance standards around all aspects of ramp and baggage handling, meeting the requirements of our customers and maintaining health and safety and overall good working practices in accordance to company policies and procedures at all times.

Main accountabilities include:

• Carry out aircraft inspections if required when instructed by the ramp management.
• Carry out equipment inspections, pre-trip, daily & weekly.
• Report any faults or irregularities with equipment, facilities or processes to the appropriate Management.
• Carry out Towing, Pushback & Head-set duties, including communication with the flight deck, in accordance with the relevant training received.
• Operate position and remove all relevant company GSE required for our customer airlines, in a safe and efficient manner, in accordance with the relevant training received.
• On-load and off-load baggage manually or mechanically, in accordance with the relevant training received.
• Undertake all relevant baggage sortation duties in a safe and efficient manner, setting up flights, using BRS & Brock scanner if required and fully trained.
• Adhere to company uniform standards that are in place.
• Adhere to company absence reporting procedures that are in place.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Excellent people skills be an excellent communicator.
• Good working knowledge of the ramp environment.
• Full Airside Driving Licence.
• Good working knowledge of Airline standards.
• Be proactive, forward thinking and trustworthy individual.
