Position Objective
The Cleaner is responsible for providing cleaning services for the office premises and warehouse, maintain the kitchen stock, intimate R&M work to logistics for timely rectification, arrangement for internal/external meetings, bringing lunch for staff
Mission 1: Clean the Office & Warehouse
The cleaner is responsible for:
- Clean all the desks, cupboards, floors, curtains, windows, bathrooms, corridors and the kitchen.
- Dusting on daily basis.
- Emptying waste bins or similar receptacles, transporting waste material to designated collection points.
- Responsible for cleanliness of the kitchen; washes kitchen on daily basis.
- Uses chlorinated water for washing kitchen utensils and floor.
- Responsible of taking care of every material related to cleanliness.
- Clean the windows whenever necessary;
- Inform supervisor in advance when there is a need of buying all hygiene items.
- In case of damage or loss of materials informs supervisor about it
- Maintain kitchen stock and timely replenishments
Mission 2: Clean the Washrooms
- Clean and disinfect the washrooms every day.
- Document routine inspection and maintenance activities
- To replenish consumable items (soap, toilet rolls, paper towels).
- To carry out any other reasonable duties within the overall function of the job (if any)
Mission 3: Meeting arrangements
- Ensure timely arrangements of tea/food for meetings
- Support for local purchase of food/refreshment through vendors in consultation with Log
- Maintain list of consumption for stock items
- Any other duties assigned by Logistics for office support
Mission 4: Compliance with ACFs gender equality, child protection sensitivity and Safeguarding policies
The cleaner is responsible for:
- Read and ensure a full understanding of ACFs Gender, Child Protection and other safeguarding policies
- Implement all work related activities with a gender, inclusion and child protection lens
- Help build an inclusive office environment where people do not feel disadvantaged or judged according to their gender or limited due to manageable disability.
Skills and resources needed to perform the function
- Conduct all duties in a professional manner following Action Against Hunger Pakistan staff regulations, charter and code of conduct.
- Be flexible and adaptable with regards to the implementation of the daily work.
- Excellent coordination and interpersonal skills
- Basic operation skills of office equipment’s (photocopier, scanner, fax)
- Team management skills
- Ability to handle stress and pressure
- Qualification Middle, above will be asset
- Minimum 2-3 year experience preferably with development sector
- Able to carry out a variety of tasks
- Trustworthy
- Punctual and organized
- Basic English skills will be consider an asset.
