| Job Description: |
- Responsible to assist in identifying, measuring, monitoring and recommending mitigation strategies on account of credit risk. It includes development of assessment and monitoring tools to ensure that bank’s overall credit risk exposure is maintained at prudent levels and consistent with the available capital.
- Responsible to conduct on-going risk assessments. This will include, but not limited to reviewing credit files for risk assessment, proper documentation and quality of officer analysis and underwriting. Review and assess the following credit processes:
- Risk rating effectiveness
- Credit monitoring
- Compliance with underwriting standards
- Credit analysis presentation
- Loan Structure
- Problem loan administration
- Legal credit file documentation
- Credit file quality
- Compliance with credit policy / regulatory guidelines
- Follow up as necessary on outstanding issues identified during credit risk reviews to ensure management is addressing identified problems and correcting issues of concern.
- Produce periodic management reports for senior management and other key stakeholders. Analyze and validate output for accuracy and identify/correct deficiencies as warranted.
- To develop, review, back-test the models in line with SBP or management guideline.
- Develop new reporting and enhance existing reporting and presentation formats. Support analysis of various dimensions of credit. Maintain day to day discipline as per approved policies & procedures of the bank.
- Any Other tasks assigned by CRO/Manager Credit Risk.
Job Requirements
- MBA Finance / M.Com, MA/ M.Sc (with Maths / Statistics/ Finance subjects) from recognized institution.(Atleast 16 years of completed education)
- Minimum three years of experience in credit / risk management.
- Sound knowledge of financial products and strong analytical/financial evaluation skills.
- Well organized with good time management.
- Proficient in MS Office particularly in word processing & spreadsheet.
