Company Information

Company Name:  Aziz Group of Industries
Company Description:
Aziz group roots in commerce date 300 years back as a trading outpost on the legendary silk route linking China, Russia, the central Asian states and Afghanistan with the present day Pakistan and has the role of leading export-oriented industrial and commercial activities of the north-west frontier province of Pakistan (the frontier). In fact, with the acquiring of one of its textile mills in Punjab the presence of the house of Aziz has been established beyond the frontiers of the frontier.

In the field of industrial ventures, the house of Aziz started in early 60's with an ice factory and cold storage, Aziz ice factory. In 1971, when the entire safety match manufacturing industry in the east wing of the country, the east Pakistan, was lost to the present day Bangladesh the house of Aziz launched the Mohsin match factory. Mohsin match, as it is popularly known, is today the largest safety match manufacturing facility in Pakistan. To supplement Mohsin match and to meet growing local and international demands for its products, a sister safety match manufacturing unit came into production in 1995 under the name Mohsin enterprises.

In 1982 the house of Aziz undertook production of laminated Formica sheets under the brand name of Premier Formica. In 2004 further expansion in this sector led the group to put up a chipboard manufacturing facility under the name of Premier Chipboard Further in early 90s sensing a demand for quality textile products. These units have developed there brand both in the local and export markets. The house of Aziz commissioned a textile mill, A.J textile at Gadoon and later in 1999 bought over a unit in Lahore and renamed it as A.J spinning mills. The textile products manufactured in these mills have not only established a reputation for quality in the local market, but these products have also found a respectable niche for themselves in the markets of European and Asian countries. The caravan chimes of the bye gone ago are still heard in the house of Aziz. Prompt and keen attention to details, maintenance of uniform quality throughout, entire satisfaction of customers were the clarion calls of the caravan trade. These still are the hallmarks of the Aziz group; the values have never been compromised during the past 300 years of existence of the house of Aziz
