A fast-expanding international company with headquarters in Lahore (Pakistan) and Dubai (UAE) is looking for a general business analyst who will be solely responsible for writing business cases for exploring new business. In this key position, you will contribute to the growth of the group by coordinating all new business development issues. The ideal candidate is able to process complex information quickly, gather business intelligence of new markets and formulating clear reports and making recommendations based upon the research findings.
Responsibilities:
· Perform in-depth research and analysis of diverse markets, competitors and industries to identify growth and expansion opportunities
· Communicate with senior management to understand and document the overarching business objectives
· Interpret and consolidate information into actionable items, reports and presentations to support the growth of the company
· Have a clear understanding of the commercial issues involved in the decision-making process, and add value in areas such as business development, market research, market trends, financial analysis, legal issues, and asset management
· Assist the Sales force with data-driven market analysis to identify growth potential
· Using traditional and advanced methods for conducting research, applies qualitative and quantitative techniques to interpret the data and produce substantiated recommendations
· Authoring reports containing actionable recommendations
· Making presentations—answering questions and instilling confidence
Requirements:
· A minimum of 3 to 5 years within the custom Market Research industry
· Proven market research analysis experience
· Ability to interpret large amounts of data and to multi-task
· Strong analytic and critical thinking skills
· Exceptional written, oral, and presentation communication abilities
· Expertise with Excel, PowerPoint, and SPSS/SAS
· SAP experience preferred
· Bachelors or advanced degree in business, mathematics, or the sciences.
