The Strategic Account Manager maintains and expands relationships with strategically important large customers. Assigned to between five and seven named customers, the Straegic Account Manager is responsible for achieving sales targets and assigned strategic account objectives, such as leading business growth, accurately monitoring the overall relationship, maintaining visibility of competitors, and most importantly, ensuring the highest level of service excellence to the customer.
The Strategic Account Manager represents the entire range of company products and services to the assigned customers, while leading the customer account planning cycle and ensuring assigned customers’ needs and expectations are met by the company. The Strategic Account Manager reports to the CEO.
Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel.
Coordinates the involvement o f company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet overall performance objectives and customers’ expectations.
Meets assignining targets for profitable sales and strategic objectives
Proactively leads a joint company - strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for a short to medium term 1-3 years (i.e. this is not a short-term goal).
Proactively and accurately assesses, clarifies , and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis.
Leads solution development ef forts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel
Job Requirements :
- Four year college degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum Six years of business management and/or sales experience in a B2B enviornment
- Excellent communication skills, with a proficiency in English
- Proficient in using Power Point and Excel
- Above-average reading comprehension skills and ability to research
- Ability to think strategically, and maintain goal orientation
- Disciplined and Organized
