Job Description: |
- Functional Manage and supervise over the counter (OTC) services in the branch to achieve timely and accurate processing of customer requested transactions / customer complaints, while ensuring service delivery is as per the prescribed standards and SLAs of the bank.
- Ensure compliant vault management process, accurate accounting of branch cash and necessary replenishing when necessary.
- Management of all activities related to ATM operations based on service standards of the Bank.
- To administer and control safe deposit locker operations and outstanding rentals as per SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and SBP (State Bank of Pakistan) guidelines.
- Cross-sell bank products, services and assist Branch Manager in achieving branch asset and liability targets.
- Management of the overall branch environment to ensure basic branch needs are met
- Coaching and development of Staff.
- Assess queuing data to streamline branch functions and improve branch productivity.
- Ensure compliance with bank and regulatory policies.
- Constantly review internal and prudential KYC and AML requirements with a view to remain updated on any revisions
- Ensure branch cash counter are balanced and closed within the stipulated time.
- Effective management of Cheque book and ATM card distribution and destruction.
- Branch custodian and record keeper for all security stationary / cash / keys and other important items.
- Generation, reconciliation and review of all branch operational reports and ensure correct and timely reporting of branch affairs to HO and regulators
- Stop Payment of Cheques on system and record keeping
- Be instrumental in the resolution of customer problems that branch service staff is unable to directly resolve.
- Management of controllable cost components to maintain the cost at minimum level
- Ensure all charges applicable on branch services are being charged as per schedule of charges
- All security matters / arrangements of the Branch are effectively in place
- Handle branch legal matters and queries raised by the government authorities in consultation with all internal stakeholders
- Managerial Lead & motivate branch service staff towards achieving over all branch goals Supervise, train & develop staff to improve competency at branch and build a strong service culture.
- Effective supervision of branch staff including BSO/SA/LC
- Staff performance reviews - productivity & performance appraisals
- Back-up of Branch Manager Organizational
- Process and cost Improvement initiatives
- Any other Banking activity assigned by the Area Operations Manager
