| Job Description: |
Assist with administration, storage and proper dispensing of medicines as well as in motivating clients follow the schedule of their daily activities. Also assist the facilitators in conducting the day program sessions.
- Maintain individual charts of items to be regularly monitored such as 'Vitals', Weight etc., and Medication taken.
- Coordinate with the Head Nurse for prescription of the medication for treatment and ensuring its administration by the clients.
- Maintain inventory of the medicines and inform the Head Nurse if the stock is low.
- Maintain record of sign/symptoms of the clients. Also provide feedback on effects in case the medication has been changed.
- In case of a crisis, follow the Crisis Management Protocol.
- Proper 'Handing over/ Taking over' report should duly be made and given to the upcoming shift.
- Ensure that all required material for the session is available to the facilitator/ clients before the session begin.
- Be available to the facilitator to help incase a client is being difficult and needs diversion.
- Assist the residential clients in establishing structure and discipline around wake/ sleep routine, smoking, meals, exercise and recreation by motivating them to follow the schedule of their daily activities.
- Assist clients with self care and their daily chores like making beds, keeping the room clean etc.
- Ensure safety of clients as well as their belongings.
- Provide company to the residential clients in the evening.
