The successful candidate will play a key role in planning, designing, and implementing highway, drainage, and sewerage projects for societies, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and project objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct site investigations and surveys to assess existing infrastructure, soil conditions, topography, and technical characteristics relevant to highway/roadway, drainage, and sewer system design.


• Prepare technical designs by design standards and perform roadway geometric design for horizontal and vertical alignment, profiles, typical Sections, intersections, and other related infrastructure using engineering software and tools.


• Perform hydrological studies and develop hydraulic models to design drainage infrastructure and culvert design ensuring compliance with standards and regulations, for effective stormwater management in infrastructure projects, minimizing flood risk.


• Design and implement sewer systems to manage wastewater effectively using engineering software and tools.


• Conduct site inspections to gather information for project planning and design purposes.


• Collaborate with other professionals to ensure project success.


• Conduct site visits to assess project scope and constraints.


• Provide technical support during the construction phase, reviewing plans to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.

Skills Required:

• Bachelor or Master degree plus 8-10 years of experience in the design of highway/roadway, drainage, and sewer systems for various societies.


• Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Eagle Point, Sewer GEMS, Civil Storm, and similar types of software.


• Strong knowledge of transportation, drainage, and sewerage engineering principles, standards, and regulations.


• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
