The Supervisor Civil plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing construction activities at the project site. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring that construction work is executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project plans, specifications, and quality standards. The Site Supervisor collaborates closely with the project manager, contractors, and construction teams to ensure successful project delivery.

• Supervise and manage daily construction activities, ensuring they are carried out in accordance with project plans, schedules, and specifications. Monitor progress, productivity, and quality of work, making adjustments as needed to achieve project milestones.
• Coordinate and assign tasks to construction crews, subcontractors, and laborers. Monitor and manage the performance and attendance of on-site workers. Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure safe and effective work practices.
• Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, regulations, and industry best practices. Conduct regular safety briefings and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
• Inspect and assess the quality of construction work to ensure compliance with design specifications and standards. Implement corrective measures and improvements to maintain high construction quality.
• Coordinate the timely delivery of construction materials, equipment, and tools to the site. Manage inventory, storage, and proper utilization of materials to minimize waste.
• Maintain effective communication channels with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders. Provide regular progress updates, reports, and documentation as required.
• Identify and address construction-related issues promptly to prevent delays or disruptions. Collaborate with the project team to find solutions to technical and logistical challenges.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of construction activities, including daily logs, reports, and photographs. Assist in preparing as-built drawings and documentation for project archives.
• Ensure construction activities adhere to environmental regulations and minimize environmental impact.

Qualification:

• Diploma in Civil Engineering/ Technology, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Site Supervisor in civil construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, drawings, and specifications.
