You will be responsible for overseeing the financial accounting and reporting functions of the organization. This role ensures accuracy in general ledger maintenance, compliance with statutory requirements, timely financial reporting, and effective internal controls. The manager will lead the accounting team and coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and internal departments to ensure smooth financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting & Compliance

   • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

   • Ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).

   • Coordinate internal and external audits.

   • Ensure timely filing of statutory returns (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.).

2. General Ledger Management

   • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations.

   • Review journal entries, bank reconciliations, and ledger balances.

   • Ensure accurate and timely closing of books.

3. Team Leadership

   • Supervise and mentor the accounting team.

   • Assign tasks and ensure deadlines are met.

   • Facilitate training and development.

4. Budgeting & Forecasting

   • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.

   • Monitor actuals vs. budget and provide variance analysis.

5. Cash Flow Management

   • Monitor daily cash flow and working capital requirements.

   • Coordinate with banks for funding and financial operations.

6. Internal Controls & Process Improvement

   • Implement and monitor internal controls.

   • Identify areas for process improvements and automation.

7. Stakeholder Communication

   • Liaise with tax consultants, auditors, bankers, and regulatory bodies.

   • Support management with financial insights and analysis.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).

• Chartered Accountant (CA), ACCA, MBA Finance,  CPA, or equivalent qualification preferred.

• 3–10 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and ERP systems.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and financial analysis tools.
